Building strong relationships with students at Gekkoukan High is an essential element of progressing through Persona 3 Reload. Among the earliest available bonds is the Emperor Arcana, represented by the strict student council disciplinary member Hidetoshi Odagiri. Navigating his strict worldview requires understanding his schedule, prerequisites, and ideal conversation choices.
How to Unlock Hidetoshi Odagiri's Social Link
Unlocking Hidetoshi's Social Link happens early in the story through main events. Starting on April 27th, Mitsuru Kirijo invites the protagonist to join the student council. Attending your first meeting in the Student Council Room initiates the Emperor Arcana connection automatically.
Hidetoshi is available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during after-school hours. You can find him waiting inside the Student Council Room across from Class 2F. Managing your time effectively allows you to rank up his relationship smoothly throughout the semester.
Best Dialogue Choices and Leveling Strategy
Progressing efficiently through Hidetoshi's ranks requires supporting his dedication to school rules. Selecting answers that align with his strong sense of justice awards maximum Social Link points. Carrying a Persona belonging to the Emperor Arcana will grant a point multiplier during every conversation.
In early ranks, show respect for his authority and agree with his strict enforcement methods. As his story unfolds, encourage him to consider others' perspectives rather than acting recklessly. Supporting his personal growth helps solidify the friendship without wasting free days on extra hangouts.
Rewards for Maxing the Emperor Arcana
Reaching Rank 10 with Hidetoshi completes his narrative arc and provides significant combat advantages. Maxing out the Emperor Social Link unlocks the ability to fuse Odin, the ultimate Persona of the Emperor Arcana. Additionally, fused Personas of this Arcana gain substantial bonus experience during creation.
